Prenatal Lactation Consult
Breastfeeding education, Go over any questions or concerns. This consultation is designed to empower expectant parents with the knowledge and confidence to embrace breastfeeding from the start. It covers essential topics such as breast anatomy, proper latch techniques, positioning, and practical skills to establish a strong breastfeeding foundation. Common challenges like engorgement, nipple soreness, and milk supply issues will also be addressed, with strategies and tips provided. The session offers ongoing support by discussing available breastfeeding resources to ensure continued success throughout the breastfeeding journey.

Initial Lactation Consultation
Once your baby is born, I can help with a breastfeeding consultation. We can go over any questions you may have or challenges you are facing. A typical consult includes:
Thorough history of parent and baby (pregnancy, birth, postpartum)
Assessment of current concerns
Observation of a feeding including latch and positioning
Weigh baby before and after a feeding
Create a feeding plan that works for you
Measuring of nipples to ensure correct breast pump flange fit (if you’d like)
90 - 120 Minutes | $200
Follow Up Appointment
At each follow up appointment we can assess progress and set new goals and learn new techniques and answer any questions that may have come up along the way.
